Elizabeth (Dori) Tunstall

ELIZABETH (DORI) TUNSTALL is dean of the Faculty of Design at the Ontario College of Art and Design University (OCAD U). She is the first black dean of a faculty of design. She leads the Cultures-Based Innovation Initiative, which is focused on using old ways of knowing to drive innovation processes that directly benefit communities. She served as an associate professor of design anthropology and associate dean at Swinburne University in Australia and has also taught at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She holds a PhD in anthropology from Stanford University and a BA from Bryn Mawr College.
