speaker Steve Silberman

Steve Silberman

STEVE SILBERMAN is an award-winning science writer whose articles have appeared in Wired, the New Yorker, Nature and many other publications. He is the author of the New York Times best-selling NeuroTribes: The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity, a compassionate and comprehensive history of the science and culture of autism. In an effort to shed light on the growing movement of “neurodiversity,” Steve explores the need for a more humane world in which people with learning differences and those who love them have access to the resources they need to live happier, healthier, and more secure and meaningful lives.
