Julia Smeed

JULIA SMEED is the leader of the Innovation Hub at the University of Toronto. Using design thinking and related methodologies to design with students rather than for them, she works with teams of over 150 students and staff to improve the student experience. The Hub’s empathy-based research and storytelling approach helps the community better understand its diverse student population and sparks inspiration for ideation and prototyping of innovative solutions to complex challenges.
